Tráiler de Hope, la película que ha recibido críticas dispares tras su estreno en Cannes.
La última película del cineasta surcoreano Na Hong-jin titulada Hope, se estrenó mundialmente durante el Festival de Cine de Cannes de este año, y ya se han publicado en Internet el primer tráiler y el póster promocional.
Las reacciones desde Cannes son realmente de lo más variadas, ya que algunos críticos se han dejado seducir por lo que parece una mezcla descabellada de ciencia ficción, comedia, acción y terror espeluznante, mientras que otros descartan la película por considerarla un desastre excesivamente largo, con un tono incongruente y unos efectos especiales terribles.
Hope está protagonizada por Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung y Hoyeon Jung, con Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander y Taylor Russell en el papel de los invasores alienígenas.
Alicia Vikander durante la rueda de prensa de Cannes dijo lo siguiente:
«Simplemente me enamoré del cine asiático»
«Me intrigó. No lo pensé, ¡dije que sí! Creo que el director Na es increíble, todo un visionario, y me sentí muy honrada de formar parte de su película».
¿Y Fassbender?:
«Alicia me dijo que lo hiciera».
Hong-jin reveló que una secuela es una posibilidad real y que hay un guion listo para rodarse:
«Creo que podéis imaginaros fácilmente esta secuela. Y hay un guion que ya está escrito y que me gustaría rodar. Así que, si tengo la oportunidad, sin duda haría una secuela si fuera posible».
A pesar de la acogida dispar en Cannes, Hope tiene actualmente un 75 % en Rotten Tomatoes.
