Anoche, un grupo más amplio de críticos tuvo la oportunidad de ver Supergirl, lo que significa que ya tenemos una nueva ronda de reacciones. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión, las opiniones son más bien mixtas o negativas. Veamos lo que han dicho en el pre-estreno de Supergirl.
Las primeras reacciones fueron, en su mayoría, muy positivas, aunque también hubo más críticas de las que cabría esperar en esa primera oleada de veredictos entusiastas de la prensa acreditada en la rueda de prensa.
Desde entonces, han seguido recibiendo comentarios de miembros de la prensa que han visto la película en primicia, pero tras el estreno mundial de anoche se han sumado opiniones de un abanico más amplio de críticos. Es fundamental destacar que la gran mayoría de estas opiniones provienen de críticos acreditados en Rotten Tomatoes, lo que significa que probablemente contribuirán a esa puntuación porcentual tan importante cuando se levante el embargo de críticas el jueves.
Algunas reacciones son muy positivas, pero la mayoría se sitúan entre mixtas y negativas. Aunque Milly Alcock sigue recibiendo elogios por su interpretación de Kara Zor-El, la historia y el guion siguen siendo objeto de críticas (lo cual resulta un poco preocupante, teniendo en cuenta que la guionista de Supergirl, Ana Nogueira, ha sido elegida para escribir Wonder Woman y Teen Titans).
También hay comparaciones poco halagüeñas con Guardianes de la Galaxia, y la mayor sorpresa es que la interpretación de Jason Momoa como Lobo se considera «vergonzosa». Al parecer, las secuencias de acción tampoco están a la altura.
En el lado positivo, Supergirl es aclamada como una fascinante historia paralela de Woman of Tomorrow y una ópera espacial al estilo western de ritmo trepidante. Así pues, a algunos les encanta, a otros les horroriza y muchos se sitúan en un término medio.
