Esta semana se estrena X-Men 97, secuela de la serie animada de los 90. Desde que se anunció mi emoción por verla no ha cesado. Me rememora a esas tardes en las que llegaba de las clases con ganas de disfrutar de mis series de superhéroes favoritas.
Durante unos años en los 90 vivimos nuestro UCM particular en series de animación, Spiderman, Batman (de DC), X-Men, Conan, Los 4 Fantásticos y Iron Man. Incluso hay una de Estela Plateada en Disney+ que no recuerdo que se estrenase nunca en España.
El caso es que han salido las primeras reacciones a los tres primeros capítulos y son muy positivas:

I really enjoyed the first 3 eps of #XMen97! Lots of nods to classic Chris Claremont stories the OG series never got to. I just saw the first three episodes of #XMen97, and I can confidently say that fans of the original X-Men Animated series will be very happy with it.
I also really enjoyed the updated animation style.

En ella veremos al mismo grupo que nos encandiló hace casi 30 años y con la misma banda sonora que habré tarareado millones de veces.
La serie ha sido creada por Beau DeMayo, despedido fulminantemente de Marvel recientemente.
La trama comienza tras la muerte del profesor Charles Xavier. Cíclope lidera el grupo, además sabemos que espera un hijo con Jean Grey.
La sorpresa mayor se da cuando la Patrulla X descubre que Charles Xavier en el testamento ordena que todas las posesiones incluida la mansión del grupo pertenezcan a su viejo amigo y enemigo Magneto.
La serie se estrena el próximo 20 de marzo de 2024 con la emisión de los dos primeros capítulos.
